Please bear with me as I go through and update them. **Update 6/22/21: I've been informed that a lot of the links in this and the following sections are broken. Make sure to download and install the correct API for your operating system. * The API is located in the Google Drive, but here's a handy link. This will negotiate mod compatibility and is required for several mods to run. If you don't trust downloads from random Discord servers, you can always just get the mods you want to add from the modding community Google Drive and install them yourself.īefore installing any mods, you will need to first install the Modding API.

If for any reason the program does not work or you would prefer to not use it, read the next section to figure out how to install mods yourself. The ModInstaller provides a straightforward modding experience, allowing you to download, enable, and disable mods from one screen instead of digging around in your game files, and is the recommended way to enable and play with mods. The pinned message with links to the exe are in the #modding-help channel.) This will handle your mods and allow the game to run them otherwise it will skip over the mods and run normally.Īn easy way to do this is to use the ModInstaller exe provided by the modding team (you will need to join the Discord linked above to access this. Modders are currently working on an API that works with 1.5.īefore you do anything, the first thing you're going to need to do is download and install the modding API. but as stated, there are a few options to teleport to "a" station, to then go where you need to.**Update 6/22/21: Hollow Knight was recently updated to version 1.5! Mods will not work properly unless you downpatch the game to version 1.4.3.2, found in Steam by right-clicking the game > Properties > Betas > choose 1.4.3.2.

There's not a quick tele to "any" station as far as i'm aware. also allowing it to tele on button-press. the debug mode allows you to set a spawn point that you can return to. You can also do this with the Scarab mod, if you want to jump into mods early. this doesn't work if you've progressed the story in any meaningful way that has caused you to save. (not including the save you create on exit) if you sit at a bench in a station, you can skip sitting at other benches to be able to quickly return to the last bench.

#2 - if you quit and save the game, you will return to the last save-point. set the tele-point at the station of your choosing. you can now set a point to teleport back to at any time. you also need to first visit the npc rewarding you. after obtaining the item, you need to collect 900 essence to unlock the skill. #1 - you need to collect the "dream nail". the first option is learned later in the game.
